Looking for a new form of promotion

Selling your house is not easy these days. It is not uncommon to hear about a friend, family member or acquaintance who cannot sell his or her house. A colleague of Bastiaan Berends (employee PXL ) also had this problem. A number of his colleagues therefore decided to investigate together to what extent social media can contribute to finding a buyer for your house. I in turn decided to follow them in their search.
“We were a bit sceptical about the effect in advance. There is some knowledge about brother cell phone list the behavior of home buyers, but research about the relationship with social media is lacking,” says Bastiaan. Reason to do some research into a new form of promotion for the housing market. Requirements for the new form of promotion were that in principle there would be no costs involved, and that every social media novice should be able to imitate it. According to Bastiaan and his colleagues, offering informal and personal films and videos in particular could be an important added value compared to, for example, Funda.
Plenty of plans, not enough time
The research has been running for 30 days now. A WordPress site was used as a basis . The other channels lead to this website. Unfortunately, not enough time was found in the past month to put all the ideas into practice. That is why the research is still running. Preliminary conclusions have already been drawn.
This is how “the social media novice” has succeeded – with relatively little effort – in generating traffic via social media. Facebook seems to be the best medium to promote your home so far. Using a reward has had little effect so far: “For example, my colleague used an iPad to encourage retweeting: “Retweet and get a chance to win an iPad”. Little success. Asking my tweeting friends taught me that they find such a call too commercial to pass on.”
