At the same time, Instagram continues to grow . And yes: Instagram is also owned by Facebook. But it would be interesting to find out on which platform you can best reach your target group. At Frankwatching, we really notice a shift from Facebook to Instagram – certainly in terms of engagement. That is to say: traffic from Instagram is (still) not at the same level as from Facebook, but the latter continues to decline and the former to rise. There comes a time when the lines of the graph will cross each other – and that moment is closer than you think.
From social to email
From Facebook to Instagram is actually a small movement when you look at it as a whole: from one special lead social platform to another. With all the newsletters and email alerts that you can sign up for as a reader, email is a large and valuable channel for us. And we keep hammering home the point : you have email in your own hands. You are not dependent on the whims of an algorithm, you will not just see your reach appear like snow in the sun.
