Before you decide to run Instagram ads for your business, you're probably wondering what budget you'd need to calculate. Of course, there's no simple answer to this question, but we'll try to give you some helpful guidelines in this article. Basically, there's no minimum amount you need to spend on Instagram advertising. So, theoretically, you could start with a very small budget. However, our experience shows that a budget that's too small usually doesn't lead to success, as you'll then be very limited in your ability to run ads. For example, you'll lack the money to run important tests and optimize your Instagram advertising based on data. Furthermore, a ukraine phone number data budget that's too small means it's used up so quickly that even the Instagram algorithm has no chance of finding the optimal target audience for your product. And last but not least, you'll naturally lack any scope for scaling. To successfully run Instagram ads, you should roughly have around €10,000 per month at your disposal, but at least €100 per day. Of course there is no upper limit.
There are two ways to set your budget on Instagram – a daily budget and a lifetime budget.
The daily budget
With your daily budget, you specify the amount you want to spend on Instagram advertising each day. So, if you set it at €100, Instagram ads will be displayed every day for an average of €100 per day. However, it's possible that this amount will be slightly higher one day and slightly lower on another. This is because Instagram always tries to use your budget as optimally as possible.
The runtime budget
If you choose a runtime budget, you specify the total amount to be spent over the entire duration of a campaign. The advantage? The algorithm has a lot of flexibility to use your budget as effectively as possible. If there are days when your target audience is in a spending mood, the budget can be increased significantly, since only the specified budget framework needs to be adhered to over the entire duration. That sounds great at first, but a runtime budget is of course only suitable for campaigns that have a limited duration, such as promotional campaigns like Black Friday or product launch campaigns. These usually have a defined start and end date.
