4. Behind-the-scenes
Perhaps the most popular type of social content: behind-the-scenes. Show people what goes on behind the scenes within your company. This can really be anything and of course depends very much on the type of company. If you are a restaurant, you can, for example, make a behind-the-scenes video of an evening in the kitchen. If you are a large shoe brand, you can go live during a photoshoot for the new collection or during the launch party.
YouTube is full of them, tips & tricks, how to's, demonstrations and so on. But of course this can also be done live. It does require some preparation and preferably a script that has been practiced in advance. It is of course much more fun to make a dish live, for example, or give a demonstration of your new booking system and ask your viewers in real time what they think of it and answer their questions.

To use Facebook Live as an effective marketing tool, we have put together a number of tips.
1. Be prepared
Let's start with the most important point right away. To keep a live stream interesting, it is important to have a schedule ready for what will be filmed during the stream. It is live, so of course it cannot be done again. Filming an event also needs to be prepared, because of course you want to show all aspects and have to take multiple camera positions. A live stream from a static point is nothing more than a webcam and creates little interaction with the viewer. In addition, it is good to determine in advance how long your live stream will last, so that people know what to expect.
By streaming longer, up to a maximum of 30 minutes, you will reach more people. The likes and reactions in the timeline of friends of the viewers will create a domino effect, so to speak. Facebook also needs some time to inform everyone in your network that your live stream has started. You want to prevent people from only seeing your live video when it is already over. So try to prepare a live stream of at least 10 minutes.
Not sure how your livestream will turn out? Facebook gives you the option to practice. When indicating who can see your posts, choose 'only me'. Then you can turn on the livestream, save it and watch it back to see how it looks on screen. You may need to adjust the background or turn up the lights and audio. Practice makes perfect!
2. Promote
Always announce the broadcast in advance, so that people can take this into account and you attract more viewers. For example, do this 24 hours in advance and another hour in advance. If you do it too long before the live broadcast, people will have forgotten about it. Promote the broadcast not only on Facebook, but also on all your other social media and for example your website or newsletter.
