2. You will understand your customer better
With a group you can connect more easily. A Facebook page is more casual, a group is really a community of like-minded people. In general a group is smaller but the commitment is much higher.

For example, if you set up a VIP group for your die-hard customers or potential customers (!), you can really build relationships with them. And that way you can get a lot more of your own questions answered, which in turn helps you understand and help your customer much better.

Through our own Insiders Facebook group, I really feel connected to the entrepreneurs who work incredibly hard on their business. I can ask them a question every now and then with a poll, I am in touch every day, they tell me how they are doing and every Thursday evening at 8 p.m. I am live on camera for 30 to 60 minutes where I answer all the entrepreneur questions. I save these videos in the group's video archive, which after a year gives a very nice overview of the growth that the group has experienced.

Example: new tool based on the group
Our Content Coach program is a good example of a tool that we developed based on our Insiders Facebook group. We know exactly what is going on among the members, who are selected on arrival and are therefore the real core of our target group. This made it clear that coming up with and creating attractive content is a problem for our target group. By means of small surveys we found out how we can help online entrepreneurs with this.

3. You build authority and trust
Authority and trust are of course key if you want to convince your target group that you are the shop, company or go-to within your industry or field. Due to the club atmosphere that prevails within a good group, your members will approach you more with questions and see you as a partner instead of a salesperson. The more you are there for them, the more they will trust you and the content you buy bulk sms service share with them. This can therefore not only be a particularly beautiful link in your customer journey. It also makes entrepreneurship in itself so much more valuable because you build real relationships with a group.

What can you share within a Facebook group?
Exclusive promotions
Behind the scenes glimpses
Let your members think about new products
Facebook Live Sessions
Inspirational mail wall posts
Ask questions to your members
You can set up different types of groups. But which ones can have a business advantage for your company or organization? A few examples:

VIP customer group
Inspiration group around a specific topic with subtle reference to your company
Closed student environment as part of an online course or program
Informative environment for affiliate partners
Example: our own groups
With Sell your stuff online we now have five active groups. A partner program group, four online course groups and the largest group, our Insiders group . The latter group has been active for a year now and consists mainly of webshop owners and online entrepreneurs who want to (learn to) do business as successfully as possible.
